Today, on 29 March, Raimonds Bergmanis, Minister of Defence, is meeting with Milan Brglez, President of Slovenian National Assembly who is on an official visit to Latvia between 28 and 29 of March.

Officials of both countries are meeting to discuss the regional security situation, future of the bilateral cooperation between Latvia and Slovenia and deployment of NATO multinational battle group to Latvia.

Slovenia is among the NATO countries that have agreed to join the multinational battle group stationed in Latvia. Other countries include Albania, Italy, Poland and Spain.
