National Armed Forces command management capability development project
Situational awareness on the battlefield, quick, efficient exchange of intelligence between strategic, operational and tactical levels is a vital element of successful defence operations. Command/control and communications systems must be suitable for operations across various environments, including situations when communication signals are being supressed, GPS signal is broken or other means of electronic warfare are being used.
Command and control system must also be protected against interception and other similar attempts to corrupt the data. National mission network, which will be completed by 2027, is part of the development of NAF command and control capabilities. This network will facilitate common implementation and support of multinational operations.
Project envisages procurement of necessary materials and technologies essential for command point operations, maintenance and development of communication and information systems. This also includes acquisition of dedicated software for the NAF command and control system.
