National Cybersecurity Council

In order to coordinate the development of cybersecurity policies and monitor progress in implementing the objectives and priorities set out in Latvia’s cybersecurity strategy, as well as the planning and implementation of relevant tasks and measures, the National Cybersecurity Council has been established in accordance with Article 16 of the National Cybersecurity Act. The council meets in both closed (council members only) and open (council members and invited institutions) sessions. Reports on the fulfilment of the tasks set out in the implementation plan for the Latvian Cybersecurity strategy are also presented within the council.
