Following is the invitation to submit proposals to the market research procedure concerning all-wheel drive military type truck with a load capacity of over 20 tonnes.
Market research procedure is organized on behalf of the Latvian National Armed Forces (Expected End User) and includes initial requirement for 2 (two) basic vehicle modifications:
Modification 1 “Truck – vehicle chassis”
Modification 2 “Container truck”
Total expected requirement for both modification will not exceed 17 (seventeen) vehicles. Expected date of final delivery may not be later than JUNE 2022.
Eligible Market Research Participant is expected to:
- be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or officially recognized dealership of such OEM;
- have available official vehicle maintenance/repair base located in the Republic of Latvia.
Eligible Market Research Participants are expected to submit their market research proposal via email to the following Point of Contact (POC): Ingars Gulbis (ingars.gulbis@mil.lv, Phone +371 28696996). Proposals are to be submitted by the 12 FEB, 2021.
More detailed market research information (including Draft Technical Specifications) will be distributed to the eligible market research participants by the market research POC.
Market research participants are invited to comment on Draft Technical Specifications, suggest possible technical corrections, alterations, amendments and other changes to the Draft Technical Specifications, aiming to improve technical quality of said documents, their compatibility with the best current industrial and technical practices, and potential value added to the Expected End User (overall purchase price, ease of operation, cost of maintenance, compatibility with other platforms/equipment etc.).
