A security policy that complies with NATO requirements and focuses on the development of the Latvian defence industry ensures successful international cooperation and economic growth and the involvement of local businessmen in the maintenance, support and security of the capabilities of the National Armed Forces.

The development of military infrastructure is important for the overall development of capabilities of the National Armed Forces - in order to build strong units, the National Armed Forces must be provided with barracks and training landfills. Likewise, the industrial and scientific cooperation is also important in the context of comprehensive protection.
